Proofreading and copyediting

Our proofreading ensures that spelling, grammar and punctuation are all as they should be. We give you feedback with our handwritten corrections and suggested changes clearly laid out in a scan. If you wish or if circumstances require it, we can also do this via comments in a PDF file or directly in a Word document. We can also help with the careful implementation of changes by performing a review.

Cross-checking involves comparing the translations with the source text when proofreading. This is how we ensure that critical points are harmonized. And if you oversee an extensive product portfolio and require specific terminology, we’ll make sure wording is consistent.

In a final edit, our focus goes a step further. Sometimes a fact check and close attention to the subject matter being described are needed. We also pay increased attention to stylistic slip-ups and try to find solutions.

As well as our native speaker expertise in German, we are trained and have many years of experience in proofreading English, French and Italian texts. You can fully rely on our stylistic expertise for editorial work on your German-language texts; in the other languages, we take a selective and careful approach.

We offer our proofreading and copyediting services independently from other media services. This applies regardless of whether you receive other media services from us or want individual texts edited.
