What is web-to-print?
Web-to-print, also known as Web2Print or W2P, refers to the internet-based generation and transmission of layouted advertising materials and printed matter. Working in a web browser simplifies the process for normal users, and the automation of workflows ensures error-free results. Standardized templates are thus personalized or prepared and automatically exported as PDFs or sent directly to the print shop.

The W2P engine for producing your ad materials
myPOD is the integrated web-to-print tool from myPUBLISH. With a powerful and easy-to-use layout editor, you can create and personalize standardized advertising materials and printed products. Intuitive, inexpensive and fast.
Large-scale productions
Ready-to-use designs and layout documents are stored in the W2P system and are edited and updated centrally. The catalog manager also supports complex catalog productions and database publishing. Within the manager, admins can create the advertising material from individual templates, manage editable areas and define the production process.
Simple adaptation
Authorized users edit the templates directly in the browser and automatically create PDFs to the highest standards. Logical guidance through the application and an intuitive user interface allow the templates to be selected and then filled with content. Images, text modules and logos can be selected and inserted with the click of the mouse.
Integrated text editing
The system supports text editing, entering new text and integrating elements from external data sources. Buttons, drop-down menus and a preview function ease the text editing process. All this gives you direct control during the entry stage.
Intuitive product management
All products managed in myCONTENT are available in myPOD. Custom searches make it easy to find content. Drag and drop to place it on templates or move it to different pages. The text editor lets you customize product texts directly in the browser.
Professionally generated PDFs
The solution supports comprehensive settings for checking the created PDFs. The integrated preview lets you check the current editing status at any time. Before the final PDF is created, the system provides a preview, with a preflight check if required. If necessary, you can edit and correct the various elements using the input screen.
Order screen with shipping instructions
You can send your orders directly from the system using the integrated order screen. For example, you can send an ad to a publisher or initiate a print job for business stationery, entering and transferring additional information in the process. The PDF or InDesign file is integrated for direct download or can be sent via link.
