Seventy users employ the system to manage over 60,000 images and 2,500 tours and produce around 80 catalogs with a total of 5,000 pages per year. This mammoth task has been made much easier and much more efficient by the automated solution. Today, the Group produces the same number of catalogs but with fewer resources and a higher level of employee satisfaction.

Before the introduction of myPUBLISH, the system in use involved a lot of manual tasks and coordination and did not offer the managers any chance to take action themselves. Catalog production took up a great deal of time and entailed a major workload for all employees.
The Group was keen to introduce a more user-friendly system and to reduce the workload for those responsible for catalog production. This led it to rethink its existing processes. The aim was also for the new solution to offer employees more opportunity to take control, and to simplify and improve the way that travel information was managed. Last but not least, the system needed to be future-proof and support exports beyond catalog production.

myPUBLISH seamlessly integrates different modular software solutions. With it, Twerenbold Reisen Group has got an intuitive and supremely user-friendly publishing portal requiring minimal user support.
Flexible image and media database
Twerenbold Reisen Group has at its disposal an extremely flexible digital asset management (DAM) system in myASSETS. Product managers are able to manage all of the images and maps for their tours within the system itself, while the marketing team uploads a host of additional images. The content is managed separately for each of the individual companies within the Group. The system not only forms the basis for catalog production but is also the central image source for the connected websites.
Extensive content planning for all channels
The product managers manage their tours in the integrated product information management (PIM) system myCONTENT. Services, prices, itineraries, excursions, content for print and web, short and detailed descriptions, and much more: the content can be checked and corrected in its final layout in the preview. After proofreading, the tours are not only signed off, but also published online and scheduled for inclusion in upcoming catalogs.
Automated catalog production
In myCATALOG, the marketing team compiles the catalogs using templates and organizes the individual tours and preproduced editorial pages. They can adapt the layout elements to the content, select and crop images, edit text and, when they are happy with the result, generate the catalogs themselves at the touch of a button. The system checks text length and image quality, creates tables of contents and tour schedules, and outputs even the most complex travel catalogs with hundreds of pages in a matter of minutes.
Interactive PDFs at the touch of a button
Once the catalogs are ready and published, myFLIPPINGBOOK automatically takes over. The system prepares the PDFs for display in a browser as flippingbooks, adds links to the relevant online shops and publishes the finished flippingbooks on the individual tour company’s website.

Smooth introduction and ongoing development
The requirements were precisely evaluated and defined during an in-depth preparatory phase involving numerous workshops attended by the product managers. This was the key to the success of the undertaking. The actual implementation took less than six months and was right on schedule, meaning that the Group was able to publish its new catalogs on time using the new solution.
Today, all of the companies in the Group work with myPUBLISH, achieving huge time savings when it comes to catalog production.
